Yes it is expensive, yes it is heavy, yes you can count on this bipod no matter what. Rock solid, no bipod "bounce", easy on/off with q/d mount, this is built for rugged use, it is no bench-rest queen but it would be a nice one. I researched this purchase for months, and after handling all the competition, and good advice from SF (Green Beret) associates, I pulled the trigger on this one.
They are hard to find now - because they are good. I bought it keeping the adage "Buy once, cry once!" in mind. It is the only bipod I will need and it easily swaps between multiple firearms. I see that the prices have gone up since I got mine but hasn't everything.
They were unobtanium when I was in the market for one, but this seller(DnR) had one and delivered it promptly.
*p.s. Once I handled that bipod, I didn't even cry once. Like Oskar Schindler said in the movie: "Good things cost money."
