The American Defense AD-RECON-X 30mm Extended Cantilever Scope Mount is an American Defense Mfg. extended cantilever quick-detach scope mount, with 30mm rings, a 3in / 76 mm forward offset and a 1.472in / 37.4 mm centerline, weighing about 8.5 oz. It clamps with ADM's patented Auto Lock quick-detach lever, which self-adjusts to in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rails without tools and returns to zero when refitted.
How It Compares
The X is the long one. Three inches of forward offset moves the scope far enough back over the receiver to get correct eye relief on a semi-automatic rifle where a standard cantilever runs out of room.
