Five parts plus the modular screw, which is all the rear of an AR-15 actually needs. The stock body is snag-free with no sharp edges to catch a sling, and it carries QD swivel sockets along with the modular VBOST tab for securing a sling when the rifle is slung or cased.

What do I need to fit it?
A castle nut wrench and a way to hold the lower receiver securely. The buffer and spring drop into the tube, the stock slides on, and the castle nut is torqued and then staked or thread-locked. If you would rather not torque and stake the nut yourself, have a gunsmith do the install.
What is the VBOST tab for?
VBOST stands for Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab. It is a modular tab that lets you secure the sling tight against the stock so it does not snag when the rifle is being moved, stowed or cased. It is fitted with a single screw and can be left off if you do not want it.
