The Radian Talon-GI is an ambidextrous 45/90 safety selector for AR-15 and AR-10 rifles, fitting standard AR-pattern lowers with GI-length levers on both sides.
The Talon in a GI-length single-lever layout — ambidextrous 45°/90° control with a standard long lever on each side.
The Radian Talon-GI gives you the Talon's fast, selectable 45° or 90° throw in a single-lever-per-side, GI-length configuration — the familiar full-size lever many shooters prefer, now truly ambidextrous. The selectable short/long throw lets you set a fast 45° rifle throw or the traditional 90°.
A full-length lever on both sides means the selector is where your thumb lands whichever way you work the rifle, and the GI length gives you the leverage to move it without shifting your grip.
How It Compares

Compatibility & Fitment
Fits AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers cut to standard safety selector dimensions, and also SIG MCX/MPX. It installs like a standard safety selector using the detent and spring already in the lower, with levers and hardware supplied. Receivers with proprietary or oversized selector bores may not accept it — measure or contact us with the make and model if you are unsure. Verify safety function in both configurations before live fire. The short-lever version is the Talon 45/90, which is also sold with a charging handle as the Raptor-LT and Talon kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Talon-GI fit my rifle?
It fits AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers cut to standard safety selector dimensions, and also SIG MCX and MPX. Receivers with proprietary or oversized selector bores may not accept it, so measure yours or contact us with the make and model if you are unsure. It installs using the detent and spring already in the lower, with the levers and hardware supplied.
What makes the Talon-GI different from a standard safety selector?
It puts a full-length GI lever on both sides of the receiver, so the safety can be set or released with either hand, and the throw is selectable between a short 45 degrees and the conventional 90. The GI length gives you the leverage to move it without shifting your grip.
How does it compare with the standard Talon?
The Talon 45/90 is the short-lever version, listed in 2-lever and 4-lever configurations for AR-15/M4 lowers. The GI runs a single full-length lever on each side instead, and is listed for AR-15 and AR-10 lowers as well as SIG MCX and MPX. Choose the GI if you prefer the familiar long lever and the leverage it gives; it comes in Black, Flat Dark Earth and OD Green.
Is installation straightforward?
It installs like a standard safety selector — the old selector comes out, the Talon-GI goes in on the detent and spring already fitted in the lower, and the levers attach with the supplied hardware. That is ordinary installation work rather than gunsmithing, but the safety is the one part on the rifle you cannot afford to get wrong. Verify safety function in both the 45 and 90 degree configurations before live fire.
