The TriggerTech Diamond is an externally adjustable single-stage replacement trigger with a flat shoe for Remington 700 pattern bolt actions.

A widely used choice on precision rifle firing lines — the Diamond gives your Remington 700 a 4 oz to 2 lb frictionless break.

The TriggerTech Diamond for Remington 700 (flat) is among the most widely fitted triggers on PRS and precision rifles. Externally adjustable from 0.25 lb to 2 lb, it lets benchrest-style rifles run true ounce-weight breaks while field rifles hold a practical setting — and Frictionless Release Technology is what TriggerTech credits for keeping every weight in that range free of creep, with a reset you barely have to release for.

Sealed stainless internals mean the mechanism ignores the dust and weather of match weekends. The flat shoe indexes the finger identically for every record shot. Fits Remington 700 pattern actions — including the custom actions common in precision rifle.

Key Features

  • Adjustable 0.25–2 lb — true match weights, externally tuned
  • Frictionless Release break — consistent at every setting
  • A common sight in precision rifle — proven match hardware
  • Flat shoe — repeatable finger placement

Compatibility & Fitment

Fits Remington 700 pattern actions, right-hand. Confirm clearance with aftermarket chassis or bottom metal before ordering. Ounce-range settings belong on dedicated match rifles — set up and verify safety rigorously, including bolt-slam checks, before live fire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Diamond fit my Remington 700?
It is made for Remington 700 pattern actions, which includes rifles built on that footprint as well as factory Remingtons. Chassis systems and aftermarket bottom metal do not all leave the same room around the trigger, so confirm clearance before ordering. If in doubt, tell us the rifle and stock or chassis you are running.

What is the point of a 0.25-2.0 lb adjustment range?
This is the light end of TriggerTech's Remington 700 line, adjustable from a quarter of a pound up to 2 lb. That suits benchrest, F-Class and deliberate long-range work where you want the shot to go without disturbing the rifle. It is a specialized setting rather than a general hunting weight, so pick it with the discipline in mind.

Is such a light setting sensible for field use?
For hunting or any shooting where the rifle is carried and handled a lot, most people set well above the bottom of the range or choose a heavier trigger entirely. Whatever you settle on, function-check and safety-check the rifle unloaded after every adjustment.

Flat shoe or Pro Curved - what is the difference?
The flat shoe on this version gives a straight-back pull and a repeatable contact point, which matters most when the weight is very light. The Pro Curved version is the wider curved profile for shooters who prefer the factory finger position. Fitment is identical between the two, and beyond the trigger you only need the usual tools to take the barreled action out of the stock.
