The non-translating turrets do not move in and out in relation to the tube when turned, and incorporate an upper and lower scale of adjustments. The elevation turret features two complete rotations of adjustment. During the first revolution, the shooter uses the lower adjustment scale. When the second revolution is reached, a pin will protrude at the base of the elevation turret to notify the shooter that they need to read the upper adjustment scale. The use of non-translating turrets simplifies the act of making adjustments in the field as well as the overall operation of the scope.
