The Geissele Super 3-Gun (S3G) is a hybrid single-stage competition trigger for AR-15 and M4 pattern rifles, fitting Mil-Spec lower receivers that use .154 in trigger and hammer pins.
The Geissele Super 3-Gun (S3G, 05-152) is a hybrid single-stage competition trigger: a short, smooth rolling break with almost no perceptible take-up, paired with a reset so short and positive that fast pairs feel like one motion. Geissele designed it for the demands of 3-Gun — close-range work and precise singles at distance — and the pull handles both without changing character.
Because it is a Geissele, the speed comes from geometry and machining rather than weakened springs: ignition stays full-power reliable and the internals hold their feel across seasons of competition. A curved bow keeps the traditional feel for shooters who prefer it.
Key Features
- Hybrid single-stage design — rolling break, minimal take-up
- Exceptionally short reset — pairs and strings blur together
- Full-power ignition — speed without light-strike gambles
- Competition internals — consistent through high round counts
Compatibility & Fitment
Drop-in fit for AR-15/M4 pattern lower receivers with Mil-Spec .154 in trigger and hammer pins. Large-pin receivers are not compatible — confirm your pin size first. Fit at the bench and run full function and safety checks before live fire.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the S3G fit?
It is a drop-in unit for AR-15/M4 pattern lower receivers with mil-spec trigger pins. Check your pin diameter before ordering, since large-pin lowers require a different trigger. If you cannot tell, measure the pin holes or ask us with the receiver details.
What makes the S3G different from Geissele's two-stage triggers?
The S3G is a single-stage hybrid competition trigger, so there is no take-up stage to manage: the shot breaks in one motion. Its defining feature is a very short, fast reset, which is what competitors want when driving between targets. That same lack of take-up makes it less suited to a general-purpose or service rifle.
How does it compare with the SD-3G?
Both are aimed at 3-gun, but the SD-3G brings the Super Dynamic flat bow to competition use, while the S3G is the single-stage hybrid with the very quick reset. If you prefer everything happening in one press, the S3G is the one; if you like a flat shoe and a hint of stage, look at the SD-3G.
Is there more than one version, and do I need any extra parts?
It is supplied in a single configuration, so there is no shoe or finish choice, and it fits with your existing standard pins. Anti-walk pins are optional.
