Product details

The Magpul MS1 QDM is a two-point rifle sling with a QDM tension slider, attaching to any standard QD sling socket.

The Magpul MS1 QDM (MAG939) is built around the MS1 slider concept: a dedicated adjuster that lets you lengthen or shorten the sling instantly with one hand, with no tails to snag, no loose loops and no rattling hardware. Cinch the rifle tight against your body for climbing, carrying gear or going hands-free, then sweep the slider to drop slack and mount the gun — all without breaking your grip or your eye line.

Fitted with push-button QD swivels at both ends, the MS1 QDM clicks into any standard QD socket, making it effortless to move between rifles or remove for transport. The purpose-woven nylon webbing resists twisting and lies flat over armor, jackets or a shirt — quiet, smooth-running and comfortable across long days.

Key Features

  • MS1 slider adjustment: instant one-handed cinch and slack dump
  • Push-button QD swivels: fit or strip the sling in seconds
  • No tails, no snags: clean webbing management under stress
  • Twist-resistant custom webbing: quiet, flat and comfortable
  • Two colorways: Black or Coyote Brown

Compatibility & Fitment

Connects to any standard QD sling sockets on stocks, receivers and handguards, so the rifle needs QD sockets front and rear. A lot of older furniture has sling loops or studs rather than sockets — if you need to add points, the Magpul M-LOK QD Sling Mount (MAG606) or the RSA QD Picatinny attachment (MAG337) will do it, and the sling then clicks in with no tools or threading. Socket position changes how the sling hangs, so plan placement before fitting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it attach to my rifle?
The MS1 QDM uses industry-standard push-button QD swivels, so it needs QD sockets front and rear. Check what your stock and handguard already provide; a lot of older furniture has sling loops or studs rather than sockets.

Is this a one-point sling too?
No, the MS1 QDM is a two-point sling, which keeps the rifle stable across the body and takes weight off your arms when you're carrying for a while. If you specifically want to convert between one-point and two-point, the MS4 QDM is the convertible version with the same tension slider. For most general shooting and carrying, two-point is the more useful setup.

What does the QDM slider do in use?
It lets you cinch the sling down tight against the body or release slack quickly, and it holds the tension you set rather than creeping back. That means you can lock the rifle in place while moving and then loosen off to shoulder it. It's the main practical difference from a plain adjustable two-point.

Which colors are available?
Black and Coyote Brown are offered. Beyond the sling, the only thing to sort is the sockets themselves and where you want them on the rifle, since socket position changes how the sling hangs. If you're not sure what your furniture takes, contact us with the make and model.
