The Reptilia AUS Offset is a secondary red dot mount for the Aimpoint ACRO and Steiner MPS that bolts onto the body of a Reptilia AUS scope mount at 37° from vertical.
It mounts to the AUS scope mount, not to the rifle. It is an add-on for an AUS mount — on its own it has nothing to attach to.
Reptilia designed the AUS Offset as part of the AUS Mount System: a secondary sighting system for rapid target engagement, taking a miniature red dot beside the magnified optic instead of hanging it off a separate rail section. It is machined from Type III hardcoat anodized 7075 aluminum with nitrided 4140 steel hardware, sits at 37° from vertical, and weighs 1.1 oz (30 g).
The practical value is what it does not add. Bolting the dot to the scope mount body means no extra rail, no extra clamp and no second interface with the rifle — the whole sighting assembly is one part on one rail slot group. On a precision bolt gun that spends most of its life behind magnification, a 1.1 oz dot mount is a simple answer to the close target. Made in the USA.

Compatibility & Fitment
Fits the Aimpoint ACRO P1, P2 and C2 and the Steiner MPS — any miniature red dot using the ACRO footprint. It mounts to the body of a Reptilia AUS scope mount and does not clamp to a Picatinny rail on its own, so you need an AUS mount on the rifle before this part has anywhere to go. If you do not have one yet, the AUS range runs from 30mm at 1.54in through to 34mm at 1.93in. For a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro instead of an ACRO, the AUS Offset for the DeltaPoint Pro is the same part cut for that footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I fit this straight to my rail?
No. The AUS Offset is designed to bolt to the body of a Reptilia AUS scope mount, using mounting locations machined into that mount. It has no Picatinny clamp of its own. If you do not already run an AUS mount, this part will have nothing to attach to, so buy the scope mount first.
Which optics does it take?
Aimpoint ACRO P1, P2 and C2 and the Steiner MPS, plus any other miniature red dot advertised as using the ACRO footprint. It will not take an RMR, a 509T or a DeltaPoint Pro. Reptilia makes a separate AUS Offset for the DeltaPoint Pro footprint.
Why 37 degrees?
That is the angle Reptilia machined it at, and it is fixed. In use it means the rifle rolls through a consistent amount to bring the dot up, so the movement becomes muscle memory rather than a search. It is not adjustable, which is what keeps the dot's zero where you left it.
Does it share the scope's zero?
No. Zero the offset dot separately for close range and leave the magnified scope zeroed for distance. That is the whole point of carrying both: you change sight picture rather than dialing the turret. Confirm both zeros after fitting.
