The Reptilia DOT Mount is a one-piece Picatinny optic mount for the Aimpoint Micro, placing the optical axis 1.93in (49 mm) above the rail.
The tall sightline, from a mount with nothing in it that can work loose. One optic footprint, one height, one part.
Machined from billet 7075 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish, the 1.93 DOT Mount attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail. A spring-loaded nitrided 4140 steel clamp and mounting bolt sit flush with the body for a low-profile, anti-snag shape, and the whole mount weighs 1.9 oz (55 g).
1.93in is the modern height. It brings the dot up to a head-up firing position instead of asking you to bury your cheek on the stock, which is easier to hold over a long deliberate string and gives clearance for eye protection, a helmet or night vision. On an AR-15 the practical gain is comfort and consistency: the same head position every time you mount the rifle. Made in the USA.

- Spring-loaded steel clamp: Nitrided 4140 steel, flush with the body, nothing protruding to snag
- 1.9 oz (55 g): Billet 7075 aluminum, Type III hardcoat anodized
- Fitting kit included: Mounting screws and a hex key come in the box
Compatibility & Fitment
Fits the Aimpoint Micro family — T-1, T-2, H-1, H-2 and CompM5 — on any M1913 Picatinny rail, including the flat-top upper of an AR-15. Height and footprint are fixed: 1.93in optical axis, Aimpoint Micro footprint. At 1.93in your standard AR-15 back-up iron sights will sit below the optic window rather than co-witnessing in it, so treat irons as a separate sighting system at this height. If you want the co-witness, the 39mm lower 1/3 version is the same mount lower down.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why 1.93in rather than the usual lower 1/3?
1.93in lifts the optic to where your eye already is when your head is upright, so you are not pressing your cheek down into the stock to find the dot. Over a long deliberate string that is less tiring and more repeatable, and it leaves room for eye protection, a helmet or night vision. The trade-off is that standard AR-15 irons no longer co-witness.
Will my back-up sights still line up?
No. At 1.93in the optic sits above the plane of standard AR-15 back-up iron sights, so they will not appear in the window as a co-witness. If having irons in view matters to you, the 39mm lower 1/3 DOT Mount is the version to buy. Reptilia does not sell a spacer to convert one into the other.
Which optics fit?
The Aimpoint Micro footprint: T-1, T-2, H-1, H-2 and CompM5. Nothing else. A mount cut for one footprint will not accept an optic from another, because the screw positions and the recoil boss are different. Reptilia makes separate 1.93in DOT Mounts for the ACRO, MRO, RMR/SRO, 509T and AEMS footprints.
Can I run a magnifier behind it?
Yes, provided the magnifier sits at a matching height. A 3x or 6x magnifier in its own 1.54in mount will not line up with a 1.93in optic; the Reptilia RMU Mount 0.39in for magnifiers exists to lift a magnifier by that difference so the two share a sightline.
