Product details

The Reptilia ROF-45 is a 45-degree offset red dot mount for the Trijicon RMR and SRO, machined as a drop-in upgrade for 34mm Reptilia AUS and Geissele Super Precision scope mounts.

Roll the rifle, take the shot, roll back. The dot lives at 01:30, clear of the scope and clear of the rail.

The ROF-45 mounts on the scope-ring cap of a 34mm mount and holds a miniature red dot at 45°, the 01:30 position. Nothing is added to the receiver rail, nothing hangs off the handguard, and the dot does not sit in front of the scope's objective — it simply appears when you cant the rifle.

Billet 7075-T6 aluminum, MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodized, 0.95 oz (27 g), made in the USA. On an AR-15 the 45-degree position suits shooters who would rather roll the rifle than change head position: cheek stays down, shoulder stays loaded, and the close target is dealt with without touching the magnified optic.

Key Features

  • 45° offset: The dot sits at 01:30 and is found by canting the rifle, not by moving your head
  • Drop-in upgrade: Fits 34mm Reptilia AUS and Geissele Super Precision mounts, with no extra rail
  • Billet 7075-T6 aluminum: Hardcoat anodized, 0.95 oz (27 g) on the rifle
  • One footprint: Cut for the Trijicon RMR and SRO only, so the optic beds flat and the screws land square
  • Independent zero: The red dot keeps a close-range zero while the scope keeps yours

Compatibility & Fitment

Fits Trijicon RMR and SRO, plus Holosun HS407, HE407, HS507, HE507 and HE508 series. It is a drop-in upgrade for 34mm Reptilia AUS mounts and 34mm Geissele Super Precision mounts only — not a Picatinny mount, and not compatible with any other ring diameter. Ring diameter and optic footprint are both fixed here: 34mm rings, RMR footprint. If you would rather have the dot directly above the scope, the 34mm ROF-90 is the 12 o'clock version of the same idea.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the ROF-45 fit my mount?
Only a 34mm Reptilia AUS mount or a 34mm Geissele Super Precision mount. It mounts on the ring cap of those mounts, so it is not a Picatinny accessory and it will not fit a ring of any other diameter.

Which optics does it take?
One footprint only: Trijicon RMR and SRO, plus the Holosun HS407, HE407, HS507, HE507 and HE508 series. Screw spacing and the recoil boss differ between footprints, so a mount cut for a different optic will not accept yours.

How does 45 degrees compare with the ROF-90 and the ROF-SAR?
At 45 degrees you cant the rifle to find the dot, which keeps your cheek on the stock and the scope's line of sight clear. At 12 o'clock the dot is directly above the scope and found by lifting the eye instead — see the 34mm ROF-90. Both of those sit on top of the mount's ring cap. The 34mm ROF-SAR is the third option and works differently again: it replaces the ring cap entirely, carrying the dot lower over the bore.

Can I fit it left-handed?
It is machined for the 01:30 position as supplied, so the dot appears when the rifle is canted to the left. Reptilia does not publish a mirrored version, so check with us before ordering if you need it the other way.
