The BCM QD End Plate is a steel receiver end plate for AR-15 and M4 rifles with an integral quick-detach sling socket, fitting between the lower receiver and the castle nut.
Every AR-15 has a receiver end plate holding the takedown detent behind the buffer tube. Bravo Company USA's version replaces the plain stamped part with one machined from steel and bored for a push-button QD swivel, so the rifle gains a proper rear sling attachment without hanging an adapter off the stock or the tube. Because it is steel rather than aluminum, it accommodates staking, which is how a castle nut is properly secured against backing off.
It is the sort of part that fits once and is then forgotten about — which is exactly what you want from a sling mount. Pair it with a 1-1/4 inch QD sling swivel or the 1 inch D-ring swivel, neither of which is included.
Key Features
- Integral QD socket — a rear sling point with nothing clamped onto the rifle
- Machined steel — stronger than the stamped plate it replaces
- Takes staking — lets the castle nut be secured the way it should be
- Zero added length — occupies a place the rifle already has
- Made in the USA — produced to Bravo Company USA's own specification
Compatibility & Fitment
Fits AR-15/M4-pattern lower receivers, sitting between the rear of the receiver and the castle nut on the receiver extension. Fitting means backing off the castle nut, sliding the stock and tube back far enough to swap the plate, then re-torquing and staking the nut, so it is a stock-removal job rather than a bolt-on. A QD swivel is needed to use the socket and is sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a QD swivel included?
No. The end plate provides the socket; the push-button swivel that clicks into it is a separate part. The 1-1/4 inch QD sling swivel suits 1-1/4 inch slings and the 1 inch D-ring version suits 1 inch slings.
Can I fit it without taking the stock off?
No. The end plate is trapped between the receiver and the castle nut, so the castle nut has to be backed off and the receiver extension moved before the old plate can come out. Plan on re-torquing and re-staking the castle nut afterwards.
Why steel rather than aluminum?
Steel takes staking, which is the accepted way of stopping a castle nut from backing off under use. It is also more resistant to wear at the sling socket, which is a point that takes load every time the rifle hangs off it.
