The BCM RAIDER is a free-float M-LOK handguard for AR-15 and M4 rifles, built on a double-wall extrusion with six integral Picatinny rail channels and a continuous MIL-STD-1913 top rail.
The RAIDER's defining feature is its double-wall extrusion, which BCM built to produce one of the most rigid free-float platforms in its weight class. Six channels of Picatinny rail are machined at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions alongside M-LOK slots, and the top rail runs unbroken from the receiver forward — so you can clamp a Picatinny accessory directly where you need it without giving up the slim, comfortable M-LOK profile everywhere else.
It is held to the receiver by BCM's patented combat rail lock-up (US Patent 8904691), which uses self-locking cross bolts applying centered force to align the handguard and hold that alignment through firing.
Equipment pass-through ports take zip ties and cordage for routing pressure pads and wires inside the tube rather than around it, and the handguard free-floats the barrel completely.
Key Features
- Double-wall extrusion — one of the most rigid free-float platforms in its weight class
- M-LOK and Picatinny together — six rail channels at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock without losing the slim M-LOK profile
- Patented combat rail lock-up — self-locking cross bolts apply centered force and hold alignment
- Pass-through ports — route pressure pads and cordage inside the tube, not around it
- Two lengths — 10" at approx. 9.5 oz (270 g), 13" at approx. 11.7 oz (330 g)
Compatibility & Fitment
Fits AR-15/M4 upper receivers, and is supplied with its own steel barrel nut — fitting replaces the existing handguard and barrel nut rather than sliding over them. The tube must clear your gas block along its full length, so measure from the receiver face to the front of the block first: the 10" generally suits carbine-gas barrels with a low-profile block, the 13" suits mid-length gas on a 16" barrel. Accessories are M-LOK, or Picatinny clamped directly to the integral rail channels; KeyMod hardware does not fit. The 10" part is the RAIDER-M10 and the 13" part is the RAIDER-M13, as printed by BCM.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the RAIDER differ from the MCMR?
Both free-float the barrel and both take M-LOK. The RAIDER adds a double-wall extrusion for extra rigidity and machines six channels of Picatinny rail into the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock faces, so Picatinny accessories clamp on directly. The MCMR is the lighter, plainer tube and comes in six lengths rather than two.
Which length fits my barrel?
Measure from the upper receiver face to the front of the gas block. The 10" generally clears a carbine-gas system with a low-profile block; the 13" is the usual choice for mid-length gas on a 16" barrel. The handguard must not sit on the gas block, so if the measurement is marginal, take the shorter tube.
Can I mount Picatinny accessories without a rail section?
Yes, at the six integral rail channels at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and along the full-length top rail. Elsewhere on the tube you would use M-LOK accessories, or an M-LOK Picatinny rail section if you need Picatinny in a spot the channels do not cover.
What are the pass-through ports for?
They let you route a light or laser pressure pad, a wire or a length of cordage through the handguard wall so it sits inside the tube rather than snagging on the outside. Zip ties and tactical cord both pass through them.
