An SR-25 or AR-10 running an A5-length receiver extension needs a stock cut for that tube length, and a heavier rifle asks more of the stock than a 5.56 carbine does. This is the RECC·E built for exactly that job: the same comb geometry that holds a constant cheek weld across the adjustment range, on a body sized for the A5 extension.
It is built from impact-modified glass-filled nylon polymer over 7075 aluminum and nitrided alloy steel hardware, at 12.8 oz (363 g). Ambidextrous QD sling sockets are molded into both sides and a rubber buttpad locks the stock into the shoulder — which matters more on a .308 than it does on a carbine.

What is an A5 receiver extension?
It is a longer receiver extension than the common carbine tube, used on SR-25, AR-10 and some .308 AR builds to run a longer buffer and spring. This stock is cut for that length. If your rifle has a standard carbine tube, you need the RECC·E Carbine Stock instead.
Is this just the carbine stock in a bigger size?
No. They are two separate products with different bodies and different part numbers, and neither will fit the other's receiver extension. Buying the wrong one means it physically will not go on the rifle.
