The Reptilia ROF Riser is a 2.5mm spacer plate for the Trijicon RMR & SRO, fitting between a Reptilia ROF mount and the red dot to lift the optic clear of tall turrets and large scope bells.
2.5mm of clearance, 0.3 oz of aluminum. The simplest fix for a red dot that fouls the turret.
A ROF mount carries the red dot close to the scope on purpose, and on most builds that is exactly right. Fit a scope with tall tactical turrets or a large objective bell, though, and the dot can end up sitting where the turret cap wants to be, or low enough that the scope body crowds the sight picture. The riser is Reptilia's answer: an add-on plate that raises the optic on the ROF by a measured amount without changing anything else about the mount.
It is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, finished in MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodizing, and adds 0.3 oz (8.6 g). The 2.5mm plate is the subtle one, offsetting the optic by 0.1 in — enough to clear a turret cap, small enough that it barely changes the head position you already have. It carries NSN 1005-01-674-7018. Made in the USA.
Key Features
- 2.5mm of lift: 0.1 in of offset, enough to clear a turret cap or a large objective bell
- Add-on plate: Works with the ROF mount you already own, no need to change the mount
- Billet 7075-T6 aluminum: Hardcoat anodized, 0.3 oz (8.6 g)
- One footprint: Cut for the Trijicon RMR & SRO pattern, so the optic beds flat and the screws land square
- NSN listed: 1005-01-674-7018
Compatibility & Fitment
Fits Trijicon RMR and SRO, plus Holosun HS407, HE407, HS507, HE507 and HE508 series. The riser mounts to a Reptilia ROF mount rather than to a scope ring, so it is not tied to a ring diameter — it works the same on a 30mm, 34mm or 35mm ROF as long as that ROF is cut for the RMR & SRO footprint. It is not a Picatinny riser and it will not fit an Aimpoint Micro or an Aimpoint ACRO ROF, because those mounts use a different bolt pattern. This listing is the 2.5mm height in Black; the taller plate is the 10mm ROF Riser, which is offered in Black and Flat Dark Earth Anodized.
It sits on any Reptilia ROF cut for the Trijicon RMR & SRO footprint. That includes the 12 o'clock 30mm ROF-90, 34mm ROF-90 and 35mm ROF-90, and the 45° 30mm ROF-45 and 34mm ROF-45. If you have not bought the mount yet, buy the ROF first and add a riser only if the turret actually fouls — most builds do not need one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a riser at all?
Most builds do not. The riser exists for scopes with tall tactical turrets or a large objective bell, where the red dot on the ROF ends up fouling the turret cap or sitting too low in the sight picture. Fit the ROF first, and add a riser only if you actually have a clearance problem.
Will it fit my ROF mount?
It fits any Reptilia ROF cut for the Trijicon RMR and SRO footprint, whatever the ring diameter of that mount — 30mm, 34mm and 35mm ROF mounts all take the same riser. It will not fit an Aimpoint Micro or Aimpoint ACRO ROF, because those use a different bolt pattern.
Should I take 2.5mm or 10mm?
2.5mm offsets the optic by 0.1 in, which is usually enough to clear a turret cap without changing your head position. The 10mm riser gives roughly 0.4 in and is for larger objective bells or a genuinely high scope body. Measure the gap before choosing, because a riser that is taller than you need raises the dot away from the scope's centerline.
Is the FDE version available in 2.5mm?
No. Reptilia makes the 2.5mm plate in Black only. Flat Dark Earth Anodized is offered on the 10mm riser, which is why the two heights are listed separately here rather than as one product with a color that does not exist.
