The Reptilia SOCKET is an M-LOK QD sling mount for AR-15 handguards, machined from a single piece of billet 7075-T6 aluminum.
A push-button QD socket that sits almost flush in the handguard instead of sticking out from it.
The SOCKET was made to an end-user request for an anti-snag, low-profile, quiet M-LOK attachment point. It takes a standard push-button QD sling swivel, and the socket body recesses into the M-LOK slot so the mount sits close to the handguard rather than hanging off it — which is what stops it catching on gear, slings and vehicle doors.
It is cut from a single piece of billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 hardcoat anodize, at 0.4 oz (12 g). Magpul M-LOK hardware is included, so it fits straight to any M-LOK handguard with nothing else to buy.

Compatibility & Fitment
Fits any M-LOK handguard or forend, on an AR-15, AR-10 or any other rifle running M-LOK. Magpul M-LOK hardware is included. It takes a standard push-button QD sling swivel, which is not included. Is a QD swivel included?
No. The SOCKET is the socket half only — it accepts a standard push-button QD sling swivel, which you supply. The Magpul M-LOK hardware needed to fit the socket to the handguard is included.
How is this different from the SOCKET Sling Loop Mount?
They share the SOCKET family name but do different jobs. This one is a quick-detach socket: the sling clips in and out on a push button. The SOCKET M-LOK Sling Loop Mount is a fixed loop with a stainless cable, which the sling threads through and stays on. Pick QD if you take the sling off; pick the loop if you never do.
Will it fit any M-LOK handguard?
Yes — it mounts to a standard M-LOK slot and the hardware is supplied. It is not KeyMod and will not fit a KeyMod handguard or a plain Picatinny rail.
