The BCM 1913 Light Mount Modular is an ambidextrous aluminum light mount for AR-15 and M4 rifles, attaching to an M-LOK handguard and presenting a 1913 Picatinny stub for a weapon light.
Rather than clamping the light body, this mount gives you a short section of 1913 Picatinny rail at the 3 or 9 o'clock position, which means it takes any light built for a Picatinny interface rather than a light of one specific body diameter. Bravo Company USA notes it is compatible with the SureFire Scout Light mounting interface. That makes it the more flexible of the two approaches: change lights and the mount stays.
The body is fully reversible, so one part covers both sides of the rifle, and multiple mounting hole positions let you set the light fore and aft so the tailcap lands under your thumb. It is aluminum, low-profile and snag-resistant, and weighs 0.5 oz (14 g). A 1/8 in hex key and a T15 Torx wrench are supplied.
How It Compares
This is the M-LOK version and will not attach to a KeyMod handguard — for that, choose the BCM 1913 Light Mount Modular for KeyMod, which is the same mount in the other interface. If your light has a bare body rather than a rail clamp, a body-clamping mount such as the BCM Modular Scout Light Mount is the other route.

Is this the M-LOK or the KeyMod version?
This is the M-LOK version. The same mount is made for KeyMod handguards as the BCM 1913 Light Mount Modular for KeyMod. M-LOK slots are plain rectangles; KeyMod slots have a round keyhole at one end. Check your handguard before ordering — the two are not interchangeable.
Which lights will it take?
Any weapon light built to clamp onto a 1913 Picatinny rail, which includes lights using the SureFire Scout Light mounting interface. Because the mount presents a rail rather than gripping the light body, it is not tied to one light diameter and it stays on the rifle when you change lights.
What if my light has no rail clamp?
Then you need a mount that grips the body instead. The BCM Modular Scout Light Mount clamps light bodies measuring 0.825 to 0.832 in, though note that one is a KeyMod part.
Are tools included?
Yes, a 1/8 in hex key and a T15 Torx wrench are supplied. Tighten evenly and re-check the fasteners after the first session, as with any accessory that carries weight on a handguard.
