The BCM Modular Scout Light Mount is an ambidextrous aluminum weapon light mount for AR-15 and M4 rifles, attaching directly to a KeyMod handguard and clamping the light body itself.
Unlike a mount that presents a Picatinny stub for a light with its own rail clamp, this one grips the light body directly, which is why it sits so low and so close to the handguard. The trade-off is a fixed diameter: Bravo Company USA specifies a nominal 0.830 in body with a working range of 0.825 to 0.832 in (21.0 to 21.1 mm). Measure your light before ordering. A body outside that range will either not close or will not clamp.
Within that range it is a genuinely modular mount. It is fully ambidextrous, so it works at the 3 or 9 o'clock position without buying a handed version, and multiple mounting holes let you slide the light fore and aft to put the tailcap where your thumb actually falls. The body is aluminum and weighs 0.5 oz (14 g).
Key Features
- Clamps the light body — sits lower and tighter than a rail-and-ring arrangement
- Fully ambidextrous — 3 or 9 o'clock from the same part
- Multiple mounting holes — position the tailcap where your thumb reaches it
- 0.5 oz (14 g) aluminum body — negligible weight at the front of the rifle
- Low-profile and snag-free — nothing standing proud to catch on gear
Compatibility & Fitment
Two things have to be true. First, the handguard must be KeyMod — this mount attaches to KeyMod slots and will not fit an M-LOK or Picatinny handguard. Second, and more importantly, the light body must measure 0.825 to 0.832 in (21.0 to 21.1 mm) in diameter, a nominal 0.830 in. Bravo Company USA names the SureFire Scout Light M300 MINI, M600AA, M600 ULTRA, M600P FURY, M300V MINI and M600V as fitting, along with Streamlight tactical models including the ProTac 350 and TacPro. If your light is not on that list, measure the body before ordering rather than assuming. It suits AR-15/M4 rifles. Torque the light clamp screws to 25 in-lb and the KeyMod fasteners to 30 in-lb. No light is included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my light fit?
Only if its body measures between 0.825 and 0.832 in (21.0 to 21.1 mm) across, a nominal 0.830 in. Bravo Company USA names the SureFire Scout Light M300 MINI, M600AA, M600 ULTRA, M600P FURY, M300V MINI and M600V, plus Streamlight models including the ProTac 350 and TacPro. If your light is not one of those, measure the body with calipers before ordering — this mount grips the body itself, so the diameter is not negotiable.
Will it fit an M-LOK handguard?
No. This is the KeyMod version. KeyMod slots have a round keyhole at one end; M-LOK slots are plain rectangles. If your handguard is M-LOK you need a different mount.
What if my light has a 1913 rail clamp rather than a bare body?
Then you want a mount that provides a Picatinny stub instead. The BCM 1913 Light Mount Modular for KeyMod puts a 1913 rail section at 3 or 9 o'clock and takes any light built for that interface.
What torque should I use?
Bravo Company USA specifies 25 in-lb for the screws clamping the light and 30 in-lb for the KeyMod fasteners. Do not overtighten the light clamp — it is gripping an aluminum light body, not a steel rail.
